By following this tutorial you will learn how to use, in real-life, many of the KTML 4 features: building the layout for a web page, formatting text, spellchecking text, working with media files, creating links, publishing content. The tutorial regards the presentation page for a product (namely MX Kollection 3, a complex Dreamweaver extension built by InterAKT Online), but resembling applications can be built for other similar cases: publishing an article or the latest news, editing the description of an item (book, music album, car) etc.
The web application will allow you to:
Create the layout of the presentation page for MX Kollection 3 to make it look as similar as possible to this one: MX Kollection overview.
Add text and format it in order to resemble the original page.
Upload and insert images and flash movies.
Create links.
Spellcheck the inserted content before publishing it.
The estimated completion time for this tutorial is about 60-75 minutes. It also depends on your authoring knowledge with KTML 4.
For this tutorial, it is assumed that the KTML 4 installation has already been done. For the installation, you obviously need KTML 4, and optionally Dreamweaver or Visual Studio. For more information about installing and using KTML 4, please consult the Installation Guide book.
If these prerequisites are met, you need no (other) product in order to complete the tutorial (its steps take place in browser).
