This chapter presents a time-saving feature of MX Kollection 3 regarding the data validation. Aside from the standard server-side validation of the new data entered in a form and then submitted to the server, MX Kollection 3, through its form validation mechanisms, also allows the client-side data validation for the form elements. This client-side validation takes place at the moment when the user inputs the data in the form.
The standard form validation from MX Kollection 3 comes with a broad range of validation templates, so it is easier to decide what type of data will be allowed in the form fields.
The validation process can be applied both on Transaction Engine generated forms and on standard forms.
