Companies Area

This part of the tutorial addresses the pages needed by a registered company in a job site. In the following sections, you will implement:

• A way for companies to post a job opening;
• A way for companies to view the applicants for a particular job;
• A way to send an applicant an invitation to an interview for a specific job.

The companies' main page (company / index file) is already created, containing links to all of the actions a company can perform. If you've followed the User Authentication tutorial as well, then the Logout link and the Restrict Access server behavior are applied as well. For the first step, you will create the job-posting company.

If you have the MX Kollection 3 bundle installed, then you have all the needed tools. Otherwise, the following separate products should be installed on your computer in order to complete this tutorial section:

• MX Send E-mail

• MX Query Builder

The estimated completion time for this section is about 25 - 40 minutes. It depends on your authoring knowledge with Macromedia Dreamweaver (MX or MX 2004) and MX Kollection 3.
