MX Kollection 3 has a widely platform compatibility on more levels. Compatible with different standards, MX Kollection 3 offers a tight integration with several server models and databases detailed in the following lines.

Platform compatibility

MX Kollection 3 works on Dreamweaver MX 6.1, Dreamweaver MX 2004 (7.0.1) and Dreamweaver 8.

MX Kollection 3 is compatible with both PC's running on Microsoft Windows operating systems (XP, 2000, 98, 2003), as well as Mac OS X 10.2+.

Multiple character encodings

MX Kollection 3 supports multiple character encodings.

• Your forms and generated pages will render the content correctly.
• The e-mail messages sent by your application will render correctly no matter what characters you write in. That means that whether you send your e-mail messages in Chinese characters or write with Russian alphabet your message will get through to your user with perfect clarity.

Internationalization

• Set database and screen date formats and have the dates converted behind the scenes - choose the date format that best fits your area of the globe:
  
  

• Server formats are automatically generated in the forms to format and escape your database information.
  
  

• Choose one of the language packs for the error messages - the errors will be later displayed in your own language.
• It is now easier to translate and customize the language settings, date format and error messages. The resource files that contain these messages are placed on disk in the includes/resources/ folder.
